through providing Communication & Engagement, Collaboration, Findability & Shareability, Business Applications, and Agility, making AA Intranet the reliable go-to source and platform for all employees in order to garner greater engagement and productivity among employees.
Branding plays an important role in the intranet, creating a lasting, memorable impression on employees and reinforcing our identity across the experience. It also enables personalization through portals tailored for the Airport Authority and its employees
Branding
The website’s typography is distinctive and easy to read. It is designed to maximize impact across all sections while remaining legible, distinctive, and highly recognizable.
Font
The website’s colour palette builds awareness and association with our brand and must be applied consistently across all communications.
Color
This fixed set of icons is crafted for the website’s categories. Use each icon only within its designated category for navigation.

the new airport authority of Hong Kong employee portal
The new re-designed responsive intranet portal for the AA employees will look into simple, clean, intuitive design enhancing the Employee Experience (EX) that allows greater communication & engagement, collaboration, findability & shareability of content, that in turn will foster business applications and agility – mirroring the five strategy key metrics specified.
modular UI components
Modular UI comports provide a platform optimized for the rapidly changing user’s behavior. In particular, changing Platform adapted to the mobile environment not only increase the convenience. but also increase brand awareness.
always-on navigation
Fixed navigations allow the user to scroll the page, while still maintaining the ability to instantly navigate to any point in your website. This has become a very popular and practical way to setup a navigation that gives our employees the flexibility they need to move across the site from anywhere on the page
organisation chart
Clear hierarchy allows employee to easily understand the different team structures within AAHK. A clear organization chart presentation will also allow for greater findability of staff. Employees will also be able to send a direct message to individual employees from this page.
smart search
It anticipates what users are searching for and it recommends various content.
It allows the user to browse and stumble different categories while they search.
designing for touch (mobile)
The mobile responsive version will need to take a touch and mobile behavior into account. Important functions and interactivity will need to be positioned in areas where it is easy for the users to reach.
